Real manly,taking that many officers to actually "take down"a 64 yr. old man. What was wrong with them. The officers need classes on being human with care while doing a job. All that was not needed and I hope the man who was untreated was compensated for.My grandfather 34 yrs. on the force would roll over if he saw that video. That is when police were men.(1950's)
Hey that was a classic example of how our tax's are used to serve and protect us. That old fellow was probably a bad guy right. Yeah that's it the cops were protecting us from him.
But I still can't help but wonder who is gonna protect us from our protectors??
It's the New Orleans PD at it again....52 of their 1300 officers are in prison for A felony offences - they were last seen ignoring the looting and rendering no aid during Katrina; Obama lovers & Sharpton supporters - remember that the NOPD is a mostly minority police force, whenever you complain about the NYPD - the best bravest, most professional police force in the

You people comment like a 62 year old drunken man is a feeble elder. There are plenty of tennis players and skiers/snowboarders that age that could flatten your ass. I say we put camera's up everywhere and we be big brother to the crazy cops with guns and let the good 70% do their jobs.
This guy was obviously pretty strong for his age. He was resisting the cops all thorough out this. When you resist, they will get aggressive with you.
the man is obviously an elder, and police have no right to walk up to any drunken wandering person and force arrest until they ask the questions they're suppose to be asking first.
Name and shame these cowards.Post there personal information allll over the net.Full names, addresses,phone numbers ect ect.we need some real justice [will anyone step up and find this info and post it.
Funny that the man was a convicted sex offender. Yet everyone is up in arms about his treatment. Hmmmmm a 64 year old intoxicated man out on the streets having soiled himself and he gets arrested....... The issue is not how or why he got arrested it's how society and the system have failed and how he got to this pathetic stage.
I'd be ashamed if my grandfather was behaving like that or was in that situation

Very soon the innocent will be invited guest to the party of the ages and those whose horrible, evil, sick, and mean ways won't be comming ...tis a pity since everyone was originally invited.
It took a bit of searching but I counted 5 or 6 punches by the officer closest to the camera(excluding horse cop) while three others hold Robert Davis...what is the Law in NO about 4 on 1..simple question right? What ever their law is let them answer to it...4 on 1 legal or not? Dwayne Dodgen Marysville Washington.
