I dont believe in tasers. They have been known to seriously hurt others or kill them,especially the most older people with physical pblms. I see it as NO solution. Try another approach "ladies"Lets see.......Parents lets go out in hometown America and buy a taserand zap the kids when they yell back at us.GET a life america :P
Makes me wonder if for every one taser-ing caught on video there are 1000 others not on video. No need for judges or juries if there is time for the pre-trial punnishment admistered by a taser for failure to act as expected. Is the expectation that of a submissive pet monkey?

are you kidding me, yeah there are some times when a tazer was used and not needed, but would you rather the people get shot, because i can tell you i would rather be tazered then shot. people need to stop pretending that the world is a good place.
Tasering is somewhat out of control here in the Pittsburgh area. Last year, a young man was tasered by three (I think it was three) officers at the same time and died as a result.

I would just like to respond to the person who thinks that if the police are harassing you that you must have broke the law. I don't know about other countries, but here in America our police force doesn't have ANY right to mete out punishment to anyone. That is what our courts are for. In America we are all SUPPOSED to be Innocent until proven guilty. So why would you think it to be ok to physically or verbally assault someone who hasn't legally done anything wrong?
Oh boo-hoo. Cops have to deal with a bunch of crap. Whatever. I work for domestic violence and sexual assault victims, and if you think this stuff is bad, you should see how they treat their own family members. And then get their good ole' boy buddies to cover up for them. Not to mention all of the times they blame the victim for being assaulted. I deal with the police every single day. And MAYBE two out of ten encounters with them goes well.
No excuse for this overuse of tasers on a non-moving person, esp. a female. Brutes. This particular cop is just a criminal with a badge. I think all these dirty cops should be posted on line with photos and addresses and the addresses of their mothers too for good measure. This is why people hate cops.
Wow. Despite being uglier than sin, these cops are overweight. Isn't national policy they have to meet a certain physical requirement to be in the police force?. I assume the extra donuts and burgers made them only dummier and more brutal. That added to a poor pay in cities like this one can be a lethal combination.
That woman got lucky despite the taser. I have a friend who is former cop after changing profession and some of the stories can serve the script of a B class horror movie. Only when they get caught on tape people believe is real. SHAME!
How about this video. I don't see it listed on the main list. It happened in Newark, New Jersey where a TV crew from CBS was filming a story and suddenly a Newark cop got violent and in violation of the constitutional rights of the camera man and the journalists there, forced the elderly camera man to the ground and after handcuffing him, put him in a chokehold. Here is the link. I hope this website can link it to the main stories for this one happened only a few months ago. Listen how half way through the video, the policeman says, he can do whatever he wants. Around Newark, New Jersey this is common.

Here it is again just in case (this is in reference to Newark, New Jersey cop assaulting a TV crew from CBS for filming a peace rally there- they were on public grounds and not in violation of any laws as later reported on National TV). You're all a bunch of cry baby wankers! Do what you're told when the police tell it to you and don't think you have some stupid, self absorbed notion that you're better then anyone else. The police are there to protect and serve and 99% of them do an amazing job. Police brutality my butt! It's more like ignorant jerk offs that think the rule of law is for everyone but them. If you break the law, you deserve what you get. Don't blame the police for the laws they have to enforce. Talk to your legislator to change it. Take all your tree hugging energy to the legislature and make change the way civilized socities do, throught legislative change, not negative street protesting. Protesting is for morons and it doesn't change a darn thing!!!
